Description
Aadidalu Jagadoddharana is a meaningful Kannada novel by Saisuthe that explores the consequences of stubbornness, poor judgment, and destructive behaviour within family life. The story centres on Shashi, a woman whose unhealthy attitudes and decisions gradually bring suffering to her husband Vishw, her in-laws, and eventually her own child. Despite repeated efforts to change her, she refuses to listen and ultimately leaves behind the child she has given birth to.
The story takes a deeper emotional turn through Sushila, who lovingly cares for the abandoned child and becomes a motherly presence in the child’s life. Through these characters, the novel highlights the importance of family values, responsibility, self-correction, and compassion. Its central message encourages readers to recognise harmful attitudes within themselves and make positive changes in life.
A thoughtful choice for readers interested in Kannada novels, family-based stories, social novels, women centric literature, emotional fiction, and Kannada books from Vasantha Prakashana.
