Description
Nishanth is an inspiring Kannada novel that explores orphanhood, self-respect, jealousy, family relationships, and the determination to succeed against all odds. One rainy morning, an abandoned baby is found near a temple. While others hesitate to help, Chikkanna takes the child home and raises him despite opposition from his family.
When the boy reaches adolescence, he receives a letter and leaves for Bengaluru. Chikkanna’s kindness creates a bond of gratitude that should have led the family to support the young man. However, his self-respect is mistaken for arrogance, while jealousy and prejudice prevent others from extending a helping hand.
Despite being left without support, the orphaned Nishanth refuses to give up. Through determination, courage, and hard work, he gradually rises in life and proves his worth.
The novel was adapted into the Kannada film Jagamechhida Maga, making Nishanth an engaging choice for readers who enjoy Kannada novels, inspirational stories, family novels, emotional fiction, and cinema-based literature. A notable addition to Kannada books and Kannada literature from Vasantha Prakashana.
